Adrian, 43
I have been living with Stage 4 lung cancer since June 2023, facing it with grit, fear, and growth. This journey has taught me what truly matters: time, health, and the people around me.
“It Matters” reflects that clarity.
I joined Fashion For Cancer to give
hope, start honest conversations, and remind others that they are not alone. My goal is to inspire strength through vulnerability.Personal Motto: "Keep showing up, one day at a time."

Anne, 63
I discovered I had advanced Stage 3
ovarian cancer seven years ago after deciding to get a scan due to persistent bloating. Within 48 hours, I was on the operating table, undergoing major surgery that removed 11 parts of my body through a long, Frankenstein-like incision. At the time, I was also a single mum to four sons, with my youngest just 10 years old.Fashion brings joy to cancer patients. It becomes a powerful way to reclaim confidence, dignity, and a sense of self amid everything we endure.
-
Cassandra, 53
I was diagnosed with Stage 3 colorectal cancer in 2012.
By participating in Fashion For Cancer, I hope to inspire and bring comfort and hope to newly diagnosed patients and fellow cancer patients. This event is like a lighthouse, shining in the darkness and helping others find their way.
Personal Motto: “Always believe you can, and you are halfway there.”
-
Charmaine, 48
I was first diagnosed with stage 3B melanoma in February 2021.
In March 2023, the cancer returned in my pelvis and abdomen, advancing my diagnosis to stage 4.
In September 2025, it recurred again in my right lung, and I underwent radiotherapy. It has not been an easy journey, but I continue to fight with resilience and hope.
Though I am still living with cancer, I hold on to the belief that one day, I will call myself a survivor. I believe everything happens for a reason.
Personal Motto: “I am still here and that matters!!”

Eileen, 41
Just one week after testing positive for pregnancy, I found out I had breast cancer. Fashion For Cancer’s purpose mirrors my own journey, one of resilience, hope, and strength beyond appearances. To me, FFC is not just a runway. It is a powerful platform that honours courage, celebrates survivorship, and brings visibility to stories that truly matter.
I want to stand on that runway not simply as a model, but as a testament to the human spirit. To show that beauty can be found in perseverance, vulnerability, and triumph. By representing FFC, I hope to inspire others walking a similar path, remind them that they are not alone, and help create meaningful connections.

I discovered my ovarian cancer during an annual health check-up.
By joining Fashion For Cancer, I hope to raise greater awareness of the realities of this journey, both the challenges and the strength it brings. Through sharing my story and taking part in this meaningful event, I want to show that resilience and beauty can exist even in difficult times.
Most importantly, I hope to be part of a compassionate community that uplifts, encourages, and reminds cancer patients that they are not alone.

Janice, 52
As an actor and tongue cancer survivor, I understand deeply how a cancer diagnosis can affect one’s identity and sense of self. Yet this journey has also allowed me to reflect on how I want to live the rest of my life and the impact I hope to have on others.
Through this experience, I am learning more about empathy, grace, and compassion. Cancer may take some things away, but it has also revealed so much about who I am. It is, in its own way, a gift.
The National Cancer Centre Singapore has been, and continues to be, an important part of my medical journey. Giving back is my way of showing gratitude for the care I have received.
-
Joanna, 44
Singaporean singer, actress, and host Joanna Dong became a household name after clinching third place in Sing! China 2017 under the mentorship of Jay Chou.
In 2024, Joanna discovered she had Stage 1 breast cancer. In a testament to her indomitable spirit, she returned to the National Day Parade stage to perform within a week of completing radiotherapy.
She is honoured to lend her voice to Fashion For Cancer.

Joining Fashion For Cancer is my way of showing up for myself, for every survivor, and for every loved one who has walked this road. Because an ovarian cancer diagnosis is never the final word, life continues, and it deserves to be lived boldly and beautifully.
Personal Motto: “You may not control what happens to you, but you will always control what you do with it.”

Kate, 38
I never expected to be diagnosed with Stage 4 rectal cancer at the age of 38. When it happened last year, God replaced my fear with peace and hope.
Over the past few months, I have experienced countless miracles and meaningful moments at every step of this journey. Through it all, I have grown deeply as a person.
My life is a living testimony of his goodness and a reminder that it is possible to continue living with joy, no matter the circumstances.

I am part of Fashion For Cancer because no one should face life’s toughest battles alone. Diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2020, my journey, shaped by courage, resilience, and the love of my twin boys, has taught me the power of hope and positivity.
By sharing my story, I hope to inspire others while supporting a cause that truly matters.

Ling Lee, 49
I was faced with three diagnoses in the same year: two primary cancers of the lung and thyroid, along with Multiple Sclerosis, an autoimmune condition.
There came a point when I realised that advocacy truly matters. Coming from a strong family history of cancer, I have witnessed the positive progress in cancer care and treatment outcomes.
Patient stories have the power to raise awareness and drive better research and medical advancements. It matters. We matter.Personal Motto: “Let go of what you have lost. Focus on what you have left.”
-
Magda, 39
Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021, I discovered that the hardest part was not the treatment, but figuring out who I was on the other side. Rebuilding my career, identity, and confidence taught me that resilience is not about going back to who you were. It is about having the courage to become someone new.
I joined Fashion For Cancer because every survivor who steps into the spotlight helps make the path a little brighter for the next person.
Personal Motto: “I turned my pain into strength, and my journey into purpose.”
-
Nurhana, 41
I faced my breast cancer journey feeling alone, and that is why I chose to step forward, so no one else has to feel the same. I joined Fashion For Cancer to use my story to inspire and uplift others facing similar battles.
Today, what matters most to me is being a role model to my children, showing them that nothing is impossible and that strength lives within us.
Personal Motto: “I turned my pain into strength, and my journey into purpose.”

Olivia, 8
I am 8 years old, and I am a proud cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with Infantile Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia at just 5 weeks old. Chemotherapy caused nerve damage, leaving me with a foot drop, but I do not let that stop me. I love dancing, music, and playing with my friends.
Joining my mum, Vanessia, as a Fashion For Cancer Model Ambassador, I hope to share my story and remind others that no one has to walk this journey alone.
-
Olivia Cheryl, 38

I am a two-time breast cancer survivor, and after 14 years, I am still on hormone therapy. For the past six years, TCM has also supported my healing journey. Cancer changed my path, but it also gave me a deeper sense of purpose.
Today, I am grateful to Fashion For Cancer for giving me the opportunity to share my journey, raise awareness, encourage self-care, and remind others that transformation is possible.

-
Petrina, 48
I was diagnosed with Stage 2 nasopharyngeal cancer in December 2020, at the height of the COVID period and during one of the most stressful times in my life.
Oddly, the diagnosis came with a sense of relief. It felt like I had been given permission for a reset, a chance to pause the pace of life and give myself space to heal, grieve, and rebuild.
I am grateful for this second chance to live more mindfully and intentionally.
Personal Motto: “Slow down, be present, and live with intention.”
-
Philip, 74
Cancer awakens you to your own mortality and leads you to re-evaluate your life’s priorities. Mine came as a double diagnosis of prostate and thyroid cancer.
I am inspired by the stories of Fashion For Cancer patients and survivors, past and present, and I hope my own journey will inspire those who come after me.
-

Tammi, 41
Fashion For Cancer speaks to me because it is about real people and real courage, warriors who truly walk the talk. Having faced breast cancer twice, I have come to understand how fragile life is and the importance of not taking our health for granted. Early detection saves lives, yet treatment can be costly, and not everyone has the support they need.
As an FFC ambassador, I hope to raise awareness and funds for those going through this journey.
Personal Motto: “Live life fully, and
be a blessing to others.” -
Vanessia, 48
My journey through cancer reshaped not just my body, but how I see strength, confidence, and life itself.
Diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in 2023, I went through chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgeries. During my recovery, I found inspiration in Fashion For Cancer. It offers survivors a powerful platform to be seen and celebrated.I have learned that healing goes beyond treatment, and it is not always linear. I hope to shine a light on cancer survivorship and the quiet, often unseen struggles many endure, because survivorship is not just about being in remission.
-
Wendy, 41
Diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in 2025, I faced the quiet battle of holding strength through pain and fear while trying to preserve a sense of normalcy for my loved ones.
Through it all, I chose to find strength in doing what brings me joy, because joy fuels positivity and healing.
Through Fashion For Cancer, I walk in celebration of my journey and hope to inspire others to find their own strength, while raising awareness for early detection, support, and research. -
Wenya, 41
As a Stage 2 breast cancer survivor, I have come to understand how important community is, not only during treatment, but also in learning how to navigate a purposeful and meaningful life after it.
Cancer can feel overwhelming at first, but connecting with others who understand makes a real difference.
Through Fashion For Cancer, I hope to build new friendships, raise awareness, and share my story to highlight resilience and remind others that support is available and they do not have to face this journey alone. -
Yvonne, 37
I was diagnosed with Stage 2A breast cancer in 2019, and the experience deeply changed my perspective on life and my sense of purpose.
Since then, I have become a strong believer in the importance of income protection against illness and how early detection can truly save lives. I have also been doing advocacy work over the past few years, hoping to show that life can still be beautiful and meaningful even after cancer.
