This experience inspired me to get involved in this fundraising event. Contributing to a meaningful cause and knowing I can make a difference motivates me to take action and give back to the community.

Now, I’m even more determined to contribute by doing the makeup for all the inspiring FFC models, helping them shine on the

Cancer tried to bring me down, but
I rose stronger and more determined than ever. Cancer does not define us - we can still thrive, laugh, and leave our mark on the world. Fashion For Cancer is a tribute to survivors and warriors, celebrating their resilience while highlighting the critical importance of cancer research.

Personal Motto: Live purposefully, cherish every moment, and uplift others.

  • Corinne, 46

Breast cancer has struck me multiple times, but after meeting and speaking with Bee Yan, I felt inspired to take this step. I chose to walk in this show with courage - not just for myself, but to support a dear friend currently undergoing treatment. I hope to pass the baton to her next year so she, too, can take the stage and embrace her strength.

Personal Motto: Be fearless of what lies ahead, for God has a greater plan for you.

  • Daryl, 39

    I went for a check-up because my
eyes had turned yellow. Later, I was diagnosed with leukaemia. I was inspired to participate in Fashion For Cancer because I deeply believe in this cause and the power of fundraising to support cancer patients and advance research. Through my journey, I hope to raise awareness about the importance of early detection, medical research, and the vital role of community support in helping those affected by cancer.

Personal Motto: Cherish the moments with loved ones, embrace a slower pace, and appreciate your blessings.

  • Deserina, 45

In June 2024, I was diagnosed with

  • Gek San, 50

    My primary diagnosis was acute
myeloid leukaemia, but I firmly believe that even with cancer, it’s essential to dress well and feel good about yourself. Edith Head once said, 'You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it.” I hope to embody that spirit and inspire others to do the same.

Personal Motto: “When it rains, look for rainbows. When it’s dark, look for stars.” I aspire to be the rainbow or the star for others around me in times of need.

  • Hui Min, 25

Fashion For Cancer (FFC) is a great
way to combine something fun and creative with supporting a cause close to my heart. Proceeds would go towards research that would improve patients' prognoses and patient aid. I want people to understand that everyone can play a role in the fight against cancer. Events like FFC show many ways to contribute through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness.

Personal Motto: Live a full and meaningful life despite the challenges I face. I want to make the most of every day and create as many positive experiences as possible.

  • Mango, 36

Having been both a caregiver and
now a breast cancer patient, I truly understand the deep helplessness in tough times. I've witnessed firsthand how many people choose to stay on the sidelines, offering little to no help. I don’t want to be like that - I want to give back in ways I still can, using my knowledge and abilities to support Yan and Richard for FFC, especially knowing the heartfelt reason behind its creation.

Personal Motto: It’s gonna be okay.

(FFC) through a friend who attended their charity event. The powerful stories and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the lives of cancer warriors deeply moved me, reminding me of the silent struggles many face. Personal Motto: Life after cancer can be good, thriving and inspiring.

  • Sophia, 46

In May 2015, I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia. I believe there’s a need for greater awareness about this type of cancer, as understanding can replace fear. Cancer doesn’t have to be something to fear or fight alone. I want other cancer patients to know it’s okay to ask for help - support is a strength, not a weakness.

    Personal Motto: Never give up!!

  • Yam Keng, 54

    By chance, during a medical
examination for an unrelated condition, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 nose cancer. While medical treatment is crucial, recovery also requires the strength of a supportive community. It truly takes a village to uplift cancer patients and their families, and we all have a role to play. I’m proud to support a meaningful cause like Fashion For Cancer, bringing hope and strength to those on their cancer journey.

    Personal motto: When there’s a will, there’s a way.
